As a mom of three children, I also became more aware of what we were actually consuming every day. I started to realize how many candies here in the U.S. are filled with ingredients that aren’t good for our bodies. That pushed me to start doing my own research, and that’s when I discovered Swedish candy—and I fell in love with it. Not only is it delicious, but it’s made differently. Many options are free from high fructose corn syrup, made without artificial dyes or food colorings, and include vegan and even some gluten-free choices. It felt like a better option for my family, and something I could feel good about sharing with others.

That’s how Nannie’s Sweet Treats was born—a combination of love, loss, motherhood, and a desire to create something meaningful. This business is my way of honoring my mom while also bringing something unique and better to my community. Every event I’m a part of means so much to me, because it’s not just about candy—it’s about creating moments, spreading joy, and giving people an experience they’ll remember.
